James Lingvai Colonel James R. Lingvai (US Army, Retired) has substantial experience with government and procurement policies and practices. He has completed over 26 years of active federal service, retiring from the Army’s Signal Corps in July 1996. Lingvai has special expertise is DoD procurement and program implementation. As a member of the Defense Communications Agency, he was responsible for the modernization of the strategic switching network in Europe. He has been the Program Manager for several of the DoD’s premier projects in the areas of command and control, strategic communications, imaging, high performance computing, modeling, and simulations. In addition to his military experience, Lingvai has worked with several civilian firms including Wang’s Federal Group and Dakota Imaging, Inc. These firms utilized Lingvai’s experienced in the field of digital imaging and the operation of systems supporting large scale imaging projects. Lingvai holds a Masters of Science from Polytechnic Institute of New York in Operations Research and Systems Analysis. He is a graduate if the Defense Systems Management College and the Army’s Command and General Staff Course. Lingvai received his Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Toledo University. While a member of the NATO staff, he co-authored a publication on the use of Fiber Optic Cable for Reconstitution. Return to FBA Staff Members |
